When you have a citation like this:

Slights, William W.E. "The art of medicine: Deep in the heart of Shakespeare..." The Lancet 373.9663 (2009): 538-9.

  1. Go to the Library's Website: Visit your institution's library website.

  2. Navigate to Journals: Click on "Journals" under "Resources" on the navigation bar at the top of the page.

  3. Enter the Journal Title: Type in the journal title, "Lancet."

  4. Check Access: If the library has access to this journal, a list will be displayed showing all the databases where it can be found and the dates when the full text is available in each.

  5. Select a Database: Choose one of the databases. Pay attention to the dates available to ensure the date you need is included.

  6. Find the Article: Select the correct volume and issue to display the article.
