There are two online Brescia library resources for literary criticism: Gale and Salem Literature.

  1. Access Databases: Select "Databases" under "Resources" on the Library Navigation Bar.

  2. Gale: Search literature titles in the Gale Virtual Reference Library, including the Twayne Author Series and Scribner's Writers series. The Twayne Author Series covers past and present English, American, and World authors.

  3. Salem Literature: View the full text of Magill's Critical Surveys of Long Fiction, American Poets, British, Irish & Commonwealth Poets, European Poets, World Poets, Short Fiction, including American Writers, British, Irish & Commonwealth Writers, European Writers, World Writers, and Topical Essays.

Additionally, there are many print reference works that lead to literary criticism articles and book chapters. Search the library catalog by author name along with the term "criticism." For example, search "Frost, Robert AND criticism."
