This issue often occurs when printing pages from a PDF file using the File > Print command. If the article has original formatting (fonts, pictures, charts, etc.) rather than just text, it is likely a PDF file. These must be printed using the Print command within Adobe Reader.
- Hover over the top or bottom of the screen with your mouse to reveal a small gray toolbar.
- Click the Print command with the printer icon.
- Make any necessary changes in the box that opens, then click Print to print your article.
You can also display a toolbar on the right side of the screen by clicking the double arrow to hide or unhide the toolbar.
Another possibility is that the printer is set to the wrong location. Ensure the selected printer is not "OneNote" but includes "LibMain" or something related to "Library" in the title.
Other potential issues include the printer being out of paper or toner, or other printer problems. Check the printer for any attention lights or error messages.
