If the book you’re looking for isn’t where you expected, try the following steps:

  1. Check the catalog again to confirm the book’s location and status. It might be:

    • Checked out
    • On display
    • In a different section of the library
  2. Ask the library staff at the desk. The book may have been recently returned and not yet reshelved.

  3. If the book isn’t found right away, we’ll search for it and notify you once it’s located.

  4. If the book is checked out, you can place a hold on it. You’ll receive a notification when it’s returned, and we’ll hold it at the circulation desk for one week for you to check out.
