I think the best way to find these articles is by doing a Journal Titles search. Here is a tutorial on finding articles from citations such as you have - you may find it helpful as well.

  • From the library home page, click on Journal .
  • Search for Journal of Counseling and Development.  You will see a list of databases where the full text for this title can be found.  You can just click on the first one listed, since the dates covered include the dates you need.
  • If you are off-campus, you will be asked for your login information - use your Brescia email address and password.
  • On the right side of the screen you'll see a list of the years covered with a + sign before each.
  • For your first article, click on +2005 to expand that section and then choose the summer issue.
  • The articles are listed in page number order, so just scroll down till you get to the article on page 343.
  • Click on the PDF Full Text link just below the citation to open the article.

You can find the second article in the same way.

Alternatively, if your instructor gave you a link that is requiring a log-in and your Brescia email address and password aren't working, you can try adding this to the beginning of the URL: http://ezproxy.brescia.edu/login?url=
